Sproat Lake Firefighter 440, and BC Emergency Health Services Primary Care Paramedic, Chris Baratto, is participating in Tour de Rock 2024. This annual fundraiser event involves participation from local police agencies and emergency services personnel in a 1300 Km ride from September 21 to October 4, spanning from one end of Vancouver Island to the other. Its purpose is to raise funds to send 600 kids and their families to Camp Goodtimes as well as pediatric cancer research.
